Relaxed, uncomplicated, zen and well with life … it’s me! Without filter, most of the time, because I value the essence of what is original, true and authentic.
Adept of lemmas: “where you can’t stay, do not delay”, “what is done is done”, “one life … live it well”, I am the mother of two daughters, Flor, 8 years old, and Noa, 3. I was born in Lisbon on July 8, 1984, in a large and multicultural family. Daughter of father actor and mother stewardess, I have Portuguese, Jewish and African ancestry. I love sun, beach and heat!
My travels around the world began at the age of 6, having already visited about 50 Countries, in the 4 Continents. Traveling is one of the best forms of education and the greatest gift I can now give to my daughters.
Against the wind and tides, I soon became interested in the so-called “alternative medicines”, having finished studying for five years at the School of Chinese Medicine (in agreement with Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine).
I lived for long periods of time in China between 2005 and 2008 (one of my biggest adventures !!!), where I deepened my knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Later I did a postgraduate degree in Homeopathy.
Because I think knowledge should be, whenever possible, shared with others, in November 2007 I opened Clínica Tâmara Castelo (yes, I know, myself … slightly egocentric to choose the name but … I liked it!). This project has been a huge challenge and a great privilege. The Clinic covers various specialties within Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as pediatrics, general practice, fertility support, weight loss, healthy eating, support to patients in chemo and radiotherapy treatments, among others. Recently we also opened a pre and postpartum preparation center.
I like to help all who seek me because I think life is too short to be otherwise.
Wih about 27 diagnosed food intolerances (the laps I give to see what I can or cannot eat from the almost 100 forbidden ingredients), I have lately dedicated myself to sharing what I have been studying and learning about food. I eat gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free food, but … very tasty!
I decided to create this channel so that I can share with the world what I am every day, what I like, what I hate, where I walk … from me to all of you!
